MW - RTE finally switched off their transmitter on 567 kHz (and the relay on 729 kHz).

aerials - relocated the feeders at home, and moved the SW beaming EWE to the back garden which means it's slightly further anti-clockwise than previously. It picks up the Gurkha station from Sandhurst on 1134 kHz very nicely, whereas the NW and NNW aerials yield L&D Hospital Radio.

MW - TWR Benin have a slightly revised programme schedule for their new transmitter in Benin on 1566 kHz. In the mornings they're on 0200-0435 UTC, and in the evening 1600-2030 (or 2045).

MW - VRT closed most of their Flemish language outlets on mediumwave today. So 540 and 1512 are now silent. 927 kHz continues to broadcast the Radio 1 service. 1188 kHz was supposed to close down too, but appears to still be on the air.

MW - R Littoral on 1593 kHz broadcast overnight in standard AM modulation despite announcing DRM with a mixture of music (French pop and Breton folk) with English and French IDs.
